Dean Maxted

Dean is a registered Funeral Director with FDANZ, and brings an interesting career mix; previously qualified as a mechanic, he gained a Bachelor’s degree in English and Sociology and then spent 20 years as a Grip in the film and television industry.

Having been a Funeral Director for over 10 years now, he says he is naïve, and just hopeful, enough to believe that we matter; that in our sometimes short, sometimes long lives, we mean something to someone.

A family man himself with two boys, Dean is intuitive in looking after families, providing a service that enables them to mourn and celebrate appropriately. Dean does his job for the self-evident reason that we die, and that we matter, and that we care.
